 Circle Catch Print

For quick hands, “Circle Catch” is even more challenging than “Drop and Catch.” Although this drill may be quite challenging, with a little practice it is achievable for athletes about 10 years old and up.

With palm facing down, toss a ball up with one hand, turn around in a complete circle, and catch it again with the palm facing down. Players will usually be able to master this with their dominant hand, but it’s important to also try it with the non-dominant hand as well. As you progress, try just dropping the ball from the hand and use your knees to lower your hand to catch the ball before it hits the ground.

After succeeding with both hands individually, try “Circle Catch” with both hands at the same time.
