This next balancing exercise works well to build both teamwork and camaraderie for many different age levels.  Have four or more children sit in a circle on the floor interlocking their arms. Simply have them try to stand up at the same time.  You can have them either face inwards towards one another or outwards away from one another to keep it interesting.
